Rock & Roll's Lost Treasure,

The Pezband's self titled debut album is truly Rock & Roll's lost treasure.Every song on this album is truly a classic. The album opens up with the power pop classic "Baby It's Cold Outside". If the Saxaphone sounds familiar, it's because it's Clarence Clemmons from The E Street Band. After listening to this album, one has to wonder why this didn't get much airplay, and why didn't it go to #1 on the charts? It would be great to see this band get back together like The Raspberries did, and do it one more time. This band released a total of 3 albums and 2 live EP's. I recommend everything you can get your hands on from The Pezband. It would be great if BMG/Arista can reissue these pop classic albums. For now we only have the Japanese imports, and it seems that this self titled debut is the hardest of the 3 to find.

When I first bought this album many,many,many... years ago, I didn't like it at all. But the more you hear the melodic songs, I think it's one of the best POP albums of all-time and without a doubt very underated. 'Please Be Somewhere Tonight' is one of the best POP songs I have ever heard. The very first few songs of this album are unreal.
