This is a beautiful, unique set of dishes. The 16-piece set includes four complete four-piece place settings, and each item in the place setting has a different version of the same pattern. The 11-inch dinner plate has a yellow checked border with blue and green flowers. The 9-inch salad plate has a blue scalloped border with darker blue flowers and is solid blue on the bottom. The 6-inch soup/cereal bowl has stripes of blue, pale green, white, and yellow; the inside of the bowl is a pale washed yellow. The oversize 16-ounce mug has yellow stripes, blue and green flowers, a blue handle, and an interior of pale green. Put it all together, and it's an attention-grabbing table setting. As with all Pfaltzgraff dishes, single replacement pieces are available for broken items. The stoneware is safe for use in the microwave, oven, freezer, and dishwasher. I'm a big fan of Pfaltzgraff. Having seen these dishes up close in the store, I can tell you the above picture just doesn't do them justice. The scalloped edge, and the contrasting blue and yellow borders really set them apart from the others. These are no ordinary stoneware dishes. In fact, I've seen much more [costly] stoneware dishes that weren't half as nice. Anyway, I use my Pfaltzgraff dishes for a wide variety of occasions, and never fail to get many favorable comments. They set a truly stunning table.

I have had this set for 1.5 yrs now. I loved it when I got it as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately, all of the pieces now are covered in silverware marks from everyday use. I have tried the Pfaltzgraff cleaner to no avail. I have also tried to email Pflatzgraff directly with no respone. The set is now so bad I am going to have to replace it and try another brand. Overall, I am totally disapointed!! The set is beautiful but not worth the money.

I replaced my old, never been chipped, stoneware set after 20 plus years to purchase this set. The first month out of the box we already have several plates that have chipped and don't know when or how it happened. We are an adult couple with no children and are not hard on our dishes. I loved the pretty pattern but because of the silverware marks and easy to chip I can't recommend this stoneware to anyone. Very disappointed.
