Amazon.com Review
Inspired by the farmers markets of York, Pennsylvania, these Pfaltzgraff Central Market soup bowls have an authentic feel and a rich palette. They are crafted from earthenware with a medium weight, a shallow foot, and vertical sides. The size and shape is suitable for cereal, soup, ice cream, and sliced fresh fruit. In keeping with the Central Market theme, the bowls have been hand painted with visible brushstrokes to resemble four garden vegetables--an ear of corn, an artichoke, a squash, and an eggplant. Though they are durable enough for everyday use, Pfaltzgraff recommends washing the pieces by hand and keeping them out of the microwave. Covered by a 3-year manufacturers warranty, each bowl stands 3-1/8 inches high and measures a generous 5-3/4 inches in diameter.
