Great set, not as sturdy as I'd hoped for
I was super excited to get this set and I still love them but my daughter broke one of the bowls by putting it in the sink and finding a replacement piece has been a nightmare. I'm not sure if that particular piece had a crack in it or a weak point because none of the other pieces had that same problem. Just be aware that if a piece breaks you may have to purchase a...

Had to return arrived Broken
I wanted these dishes so badly but they arrived broken. However, having ordered through Amazon the return was painless and professionally handled. Too scared to order again but continue to buy on Amazon due to great customer service.

I was super excited to get this set and I still love them but my daughter broke one of the bowls by putting it in the sink and finding a replacement piece has been a nightmare. I'm not sure if that particular piece had a crack in it or a weak point because none of the other pieces had that same problem. Just be aware that if a piece breaks you may have to purchase a whole other set (if you can find one) to replace that one piece and then you will still not have a full set. *sigh*

I love this set--very modern, but kind of retro 70's at the same time. A deep satiny espresso color on the outside, a khaki buff inside. Very slim and low profile, and silverware stays put when leaned on the edge. Wish they made serving pieces to match! Also wish there was a smaller cereal bowl to match--the bowls are very large, like for chili or stew. Super sturdy, too. Dishwasher and small kids have not damaged them. Very happy with these.
