This classic piece of Pfaltzgraff stoneware can be dressed down for everyday use or dressed up for formal entertaining. Basic off-white with a not-so-basic filigree pattern of gently scalloped edges and embossed arches, the stoneware exhibits a subtle beauty. It's pretty but not overly feminine, so it wouldn't be out of place in a bachelor pad. The gravy boat holds 16 ounces (2 cups), and the saucer keeps drips off the tablecloth. As with all Pfaltzgraff dishes, single replacement pieces are available from the manufacturer if you ever break, say, just the saucer. This gravy boat is elegant. It looks great with the Pfaltzgraff Orleans stoneware set I recently purchased. It would go with any pattern. It is heavy weight and using the handle to pour the gravy is easier for my family than using a ladle. It has the appearance of a warm, old-fashioned, charming dish that has been handed down from someone's grandmother. It feels good placing this on the table when everyone's waiting for the gravy. I strongly recommend it. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful gravy boat,

I have been searching high and low for a gravy boat and love this one. I don't own this pattern, but the design is so simple yet elegant that it goes with almost anything. It is a good-size boat with an unattached plate (very nice). This boat is suitable for family gatherings, and makes a great presentation. Highly recommended to all!
