Pfaltzgraff Garland Spruce 16 piece dinnerware set, service for four. Set includes four of each - 11 1/2" dinner plates, 9" salad plates, 12 ounce mug and 20 ounce soup/cereal bowl. Garland Spruce is a new Pfaltzgraff holiday pattern for 2006; it features a sculpted, raised design with handpainted poinsettias, holly leaves, berries, spruce garlands and pinecones. The edge of each item is brushed with a gold antique finish. This lovely seasonal pattern is soft, traditional and can be used throughout the Fall and holiday seasons.

My Christmas table setting looked gorgeous, and I received many compliments..the quality was first class,yet informal...exactly what I wanted!!! Would highly recommend.

I purchased this because the price was too good to ignore, it dropped down to $22 for the set shipped. Even if it only lasts a couple of Christmas seasons it was worth what i paid. When i received the set one of the dinner plates was broken but as always Amazon was very courteous and replaced it. The set is very attractive, festive looking and understated (the colors are very muted). It has a more traditional look. I wouldnt wash the pieces in the dishwasher though as i believe the paint will eventually chip.

It is OK when you get it at the clearance price of $28 for the set, but I wouldn't pay more than $30 for this set. It is NOT as good as what Pfaltzgraff used to be.
