This was my second choice for a Pfaltzgraff pattern and I'm glad this is the one I got!!! The Napoli dinner plates were too large for my cabinets but these fit perfectly. They are definitely dishwasher safe, everyone comments on what a great set I have. Just couldn't be happier. The variation of pattern throughout the different pieces instead of each and every piece being exactly the same color and pattern is what I like most. I also ordered the service for 8 and quite a few extra pieces like bowls, sugar & creamer set, etc. Love them all.

I have had this dinnerware for almost 4 years and have only broke one plate. It washes beautiful in the dishwasher and it still looks shiny and new. Everything does get very hot when it comes out of the microwave so you have to be careful when taking it out of the micro. I have a service for 12 and love it! You won't be disappointed.

I GOT 2 SETS, ONE IN EACH COLOR SO I CAN MIX THEM UP ON THE TABLE. IT IS ELEGANT DINNERWARE WITH A TOUCH OF WHIMSY. LOVE THE SCALLOPED EDGES.

I really liked this set of dishes. They were very well made and very colorful but I had to send them back because of damage during shipment. This occured twice and the last time, Amazon told me they could no longer ship them due to a problem on their end. Apparently, it was with the packers because both times, the bowls were broken in several pieces upon arrival. Luckily, I found the Pistoulet Salmon Dinnerware at Macy's for considerably less than on Amazon.

I love Pistoulet. It works in my country french kitchen just perfectly. These dishes can be semi-formal if you wish, but they retain a touch whimsy, and I love that about them. I bought one box of the blue and one box of the red. The pieces coordinate, but they don't "match". So much more interesting on the table. So far so good in the microwave and the dishwasher - I've only had them a few weeks, but I've owned Pfaltzgraff before, and this set seems to be holding up to the name. Finally, the dishes that are perfect for my kitchen!!!!

We ordered the 16 piece set hoping to receive service for four, with 3 pieces and 4 serving pieces, just like the one shown in blue. Instead we received the 20 piece set which includes service for 4, with the 5 pieces pictured, I called customer service told them that we did not receive the four serving pieces that we expected; they said the computers were down, could you call back later? instead I emailed customer service told them that we were missing the 4 serving pieces as well as the problem I had with calling customer service.

Customer service sent out another 16 piece set, (as stated on the shipping slip) but, we do not have the heart to tell them, again, that they sent out another 20 piece dinnerware set. UPDATED 1/27/07

My order from amazon was poorly packaged, I had a broken cup, broken bowl, chipped bowl. I called amazon by the number provided and they were very pleasant and helpful. I was sent a brandnew full order of dishes at no charge. The second order was very well packaged. I did not have to return the good dishes from the first order. So far I love the dishes. I have used them everyday for about a month now. The dinner plate has a flatter lip and food will slide off easier, so actually like the disign of the salad plate best (if it were only a little bigger). I have used them in the microwave and cleaned them in the dishwasher without any problems.

This set is absolutely enchanting! If you want something different than the old same pattern pieces, this set is for you. Whimiscal to say the least and I now intend to purchase all the extra pieces (salt & pepper, serving bowls, etc). My shipment arrived in perfect order, no chips, cracks, etc. I am a very happy customer! I really think you will like this set!

...that Amazon backs their "warehouse deals" subsidiary because you can't communicate with Warehouse Deals no matter how you try.

My reason for contacting them was the fact that over 50% of the dishes were broken. The dishes were in their original carton (like you would purchase at a retail store - only separated by flimsy cardboard) and then the carton was inserted into a mailing carton with a lot of bubble wrap, etc. Obviously, can't work.

Amazon was very good about reimbursement and apologizing but I don't think I would order again from Warehouse Deals.

We love the dishes but after two shipments with multiple broken dishes I was getting a little annoyed. I filed a mild complaint with Amazon and they let me keep the second shipment with several broken bowls and sent a third set. It was received with various broken plates and bowls but I was able to make a full set from two shipments - and a few spare pieces left over.

The dishes themselves are very nice and the mugs are perfect. I like the fact that Pfalzgraff offers a wide range of open stock accessories.

Kudos to Amazon for their great customer support.
