This canister is well made and beautiful. I am using it for granulated sugar, rather than herbs. It is pretty big for herbs. I still enjoy the whimsical saying "Herbs for Magicians," however, after reading the significance of the saying in Secrets of Pistoulet book.

I received this canister and I'm thrilled with the size & how the lid is secure, however the wording was "wiped" out like. Herbs for Magicians was extremely hard to read. All you can see is Herbs and then the "cians" on Magicians. I was very disappointed, however Pfaltzgraff is sending a replacement, no questions asked.
