The cannister says 'Tea Of Cowage', NOT Tea of Courage.
I sent one back and the next one said the same, so I sent that one back too for a refund. Thankfully, Amazon
has wonderful return policies.

Amazingly poor Product Quality Control on Pfaltzgraf's part. Too bad, because it's otherwise a very nice tea cannister, albeit pricey..

This is a beautiful piece and the picture they show IS NOT the way it looks. The picture Mark provided is absolutely correct, but before I saw that picture I didn't SEE it that way, Maybe because I write similar to the way it is wriiten on the canister I didn't think anything of it. I like it and it just makes it one of a kind for sure.

We read the reviews about the script looking like "cowage" not "courage" and bought this anyway. It is kind of a funny conversation piece. Really, it was the canister that best met our needs for tea storage, and went with our decor. We sort of turn the "cowage" script away from the front and it's fine. Overall, it's nice-looking. The lid has a gasket that keeps it well-seated so the tea stays fresh. We also store coffee pods in there.
