Sometimes when I have guests they like to eat pasta; and I enjoy pasta myself so that's what's on the menu! This "Sedona" style individual pasta bowl by Pfaltzgraff is indeed dishwasher and microwave safe. The manufacturer claims that it is also oven and freezer safe; but I can't comment on that because I haven't used it in the oven and freezer.

Although this is made to be a pasta bowl; this can also be used for deserts, breakfast cereals with generous helpings and other types of meals or salads with larger portions. It could even be used as a bowl to hold dip at a party; guests will never know the difference. Great!

The design of the bowl is very smart. The dark shade of blue in the center is nicely complemented by the warm, earthy tones with abstract shapes all around the circumference of this eight inch wide bowl. The overall effect certainly does give it that vibrant southwest feel; the design can also go with many contemporary and even modern dining room sets. It will not go with anything colonial, as you might have assumed.

In addition, the bowl is fairly good sized for those of us (ME!!!) who can't get enough of that pasta, dessert, or whatever is on the menu. The bowl can hold just up to 20 ounces of pasta and that's excellent. A good, deep bowl is what you need when you have pasta lovers or people who want paella at the dinner table!

This pasta bowl is hand painted; that impresses me. There is a five year warranty but with the great design of these bowls I doubt you'll ever need it! When I handle the bowl it feels very sturdy and solid.

The Sedona Bowls by Pfaltzgraff are simply beautiful. Delicately balanced and lighter then they look they accent every meal. I was surprised and a bit overtaken when I first opened the box. The photo just doesn't do them justice. They are radiant. These are my favorite dishes now. Originally I bought these for pasta night. Now there are so many possibilities. I love them.

I really like the colors of this set..my problem with the product in general is that it chips so easily. I live in a house where the dishes are not abused and this plate set has been a headache in terms of the chipping. Otherwise, it has eye appeal and looks good on the table.

So far we've used these for our "big" salads. Next will be for spaghetti & meatballs. I also plan to use them for a serving dish for vegetables. Love the colorful, bold pattern.

I never knew I needed pasta bowls until I purchased these. they have the gorgeous Sedona pattern. They also are the perfect size. So many pasta bowls that you see are huge, way bigger than a normal serving. These bowls are big enough for a normal serving plus a little room to toss in some cheese. Awesome.

We use ours for pasta, salad, some soups and love this dish. It's beautiful and such a perfect addition. I am so glad I got them.
