I have numerous sets of dishes that I have become bored with, due to colors and style. When looking to buy new dishes I was looking for the sublety of color and pattern that would never go out of style. The off-white with a slight hint of green in the center is gorgeous and will compliment any decor. These dishes are sturdy, but can be used for everyday or dinner parties. Mugs are a great size too.
I love these so much I ordered place settings for 16.

It's the exact same dishes as in the 4 place setting 16 piece set.

With free shipping you can't beat that.

I really like the pattern. The off-white coloring along with the raised design make it look very elegant.

Two things that we have found that we don't really like:

1.) Like most stoneware, the bottoms are very rough. Sliding them across a tabletop would surely scratch it. A trick we found was to rub the bottoms of the plates together and they will tend to smooth out the roughness a bit. But still watch out for scratches on counters and wood finishes. We had corning corelle dishes before and they are perfectly smooth.

2.) They are very heavy. When filling up a dishwasher with these, I'm always a little worried about the weight it's putting on the open door of the washer. No issues yet. We had Corning corelle dishes before getting these which are very light. So, stacking 12 plates wasn't that big of a deal. Now, I'm a little worried about all the weight in my cuppords. Something to consider when buying stoneware.

Overall, they are very good dishes that are made in York, PA. Made in the USA, yea!
