Icons of winter decorate the lid of this covered butter dish. Suitable as a holiday gift on its own merit, the stoneware butter dish also complements Pfaltzgraff's Snow Bear line of dinnerware.

A green stripe accents the edge of the dish, which features a raised lip for containing a 4-3/4 by 1-1/2-inch stick of butter while preventing the lid from sliding around. Evergreen trees, pairs of woolen mitten, snowflakes, and old-fashioned snowshoes decorate the outside of the classically curved lid.
