With a cuddly polar bear hand-painted in a different scene on each, the four 9-inch luncheon plates in this set will especially delight children. The earthenware plates complement Pfaltzgraff's Snow Bear line of holiday dinnerware.
Grandchildren might stake claim to a particular favorite: there's a bear ice skating, carrying an evergreen bough, displaying a colorful paper chain, and holding a potted tree with a silver star. The scarf around each bear's neck is echoed in the plates' red-plaid borders with 'folded' corners that resemble those of a green woolen blanket.
