Don't laugh but I use this thing year round. It's the perfect size for sweet corn in the summer and it's also a little refreshing to look at in 90 degree heat! That aside, mine gets used continuously and it still looks great. I load it up with everything you can imagine and the presentation is so beautiful on this platter. I've had mine for 12 years now and it still looks new. Amazon's $20 pricetag is just awesome too! I paid more than that at an outlet!

I bought 2 of these, and was stunned that they arrived in an Amazon box, wrapped in bubble wrap only. No Pfaltzgraff packaging, no care instructions, it was like I bought them second-hand. Makes it difficult to give as a gift. Customer service also advised me that full china service for 12 may not be Pfaltzgraff-boxed, so they apparently are getting this stuff other than from the factory. Very disappointed in that, and customer service cannot help. In fact, they sent me 2 MORE platters instead of boxes, then asked me to take them to the post office to return them. Be forewarned, their Pfaltzgraff stuff may not be properly packaged for shower or wedding or other gifts.

I love my platter. It is a great size for the holidays and is not too heavy. It can go in the dishwasher and doesn't have to be hand washed like so much of the winterberry collection does.

This platter is typical Pfaltzgraff quality--excellent. And it is quite large, 18 inches in fact. Not what you want if you don't feed a crowd but a smaller one is available and both are well worth the money. The detailing is wonderful and the colors are muted but still stand out on the plate. I went on a binge and purchased a LOT of Winterberry pieces and I have not been disappointed in any of them. Neither will you. The lifetime replacement guarantee from the company just adds to their allure!!

this is a beautifl pattern, no doubt, i was a little surprised that the platter was smaller then i thought it would be - but its very nice, dainty, and will be used during the Holidays -

The initial package was poorly wrapped and the item arrived in a large number of pieces. Sender was notified and the replacement came in perfect condition.

I ordered several of these and gave as gifts. So many things need a platter during the holidays and this one is perfect. Everyone that I gave it to loved it.

Amazon had the best price around - so I bought 2. I love this pattern and was thrilled to find it for such a good price.

This platter was purchased to go with the entire Winterberry dinnerware set. It is one of my favorite pieces. This is not fine china, this is quality stoneware that looks elegant due to the delicate decor. Every piece purchased was on sale making it easier to buy extra pieces. All pieces came intact and without flaws.

My beautiful dishes and platter arrived in perfect condition and I am very pleased with them.

I have admired this pattern for some time. Lovely red winterberries,accented by leaves of green with a delicate green banded rim.

The platter, which was purchased separately, is good size and again arrived in perfect condition.

The set makes for a lovely holiday table. I plan to make these my "winter dishes", the design says winter--not just Christmas.

The mugs are a perfect size.
