I bought these coolers as a gift for my brother and sister-in-law. They loved the coolers and thought they were beautiful. The overall look of the glass was very nice; the decorations on the glass and the red bottoms make for a unique cooler that could be used every day. The only down-side is that they are not dishwasher safe.

Although these are seriously gorgeous, you have to be careful of washing these. The instructions do state that they are not dishwasher safe, but the paint will even come off when hand washing. We ended up using cold water and no soap to clean because after the first use, the paint was coming off. Therefore, these will be used only on holidays and not during the whole season, like I like to use the rest of my matching dinnerware.

These match my Winterberry pattern perfectly, but the red paint on the glasses (which all have to be handwashed) is flaking off at an alarming rate, even with gentle handwashing and mild detergent. That is the reason for the 3 stars. Pfaltzgraff (or whoever makes these matching glasses) needs to find a more durable paint.

Instructions say, "Do not soak glasses in water or use warm water." How are you supposed to get the glasses clean then? I put them in water for 10 seconds, rinsed, only to find the RED PAINT at the bottom of the glasses CAME OFF! This was BEFFORE using them! I was washing them for the first time when the paint came off. We haven't even drank from them yet. Very disappointing.

Not Penney's or Kohl's fault. These glasses are so elegant.....when you see them in the store. As I washed them for the first time yesterday, every berry and all the red around the stem of the wine glasses and the bottoms of the coolers began to flake off. Even with a receipt and although they've never been used, I'm stuck with trashed up "elegant" glasses. Penney's & Kohls no longer carry these two different sets of glasses. Makes one wonder why!

these glasses were very nice and better than what i had expected. and i had quick delivery. i am very pleased.

Just like others are saying the red coloring flakes off after hand washing them. The red berries start sliding around from moistier with cold liquids inside. These are junk and not worth the money.

I only hope I can get my money back but from what I read that may not be possible since they have been used.

I received these glasses as a Christmas present to go with the Winterberry dishes I have. The first time we used the glasses the little red berries started sliding around the outside of one of the glasses from the condensation on the glass during use. After the first use, I was careful not to let the glass soak in the dish water and the paint still just fell right off the bottom when my husband rinsed the glass. I would think that they could have found a paint that would stay on better than this. I've done painting on glasses with glass paint from the craft store and it will even hold up in a dishwasher. This is a very poor product from what I believed to be a reputable company.

I can't believe that Pfaltzgraff would put something as bed as these glasses on the market. All of the decorated design came off under running water!

This is a very nice product. I have bought several other Winterberry products and I am trying to match them up. They are nice looking and would go well with red/green plates.
