I ordered the bowls for my oatmeal and they are deep enough and bright enough to liven up my bleak breakfast. They are sturdy enough and and microwaveable. They fit the bill.

We make cooked oatmeal often in the morning in the microwave and this is the perfect bowl because it it large enough that the oatmeal doesn't cook over and out of the bowl onto my microwave. That is a big plus!

I was looking for a replacement of some large bowls that have alot of chips. These seem to fill the search. My husband even likes them- he likes the bigger bowls.. They are a good size for soups, cereal, ice cream, etc. Nice color & design. Based on the description, it seems they are holiday bowls, but the design is suttle & I think they can be used anytime. I bought a set of four, may buy more later, maybe in other colors if available.
