I purchased this from an Amazon sale email - not really "needing" anything. I saw it and knew it would be perfect as a gift for my mother in law. I received it quickly (as always with Amazon)....and it is so pretty. I know she will love it! She'll be very excited since she both loves cardinals and collects cookie jars. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I purchased this cookie jar because my 5 year old granddaughter loves cardinals. So cardinals and cookies really go together for a 5 year old. This is very cute and will probably display it year round. It did have a small chip on the roof when I got it, but I took one of my furniture pens and touched it up. Can't tell where the chip was.
Overall, very pleased.

I am not a cookie jar collector BUT I thought the picture was so pretty and would make my kitchen look nice for the holidays. The jar is just as lovely in person. The little yellow cardinal peeking out of the window is very cute. I have a few pieces from Pfaltzgraff and like them all. It's a good company and has been around forever. The Winterberry design has tons of pieces so that's a nice bonus if you fall in love with the pattern like I did. The little holly berries are sweet and the ribbon on the roof is charming. I put this out for the first time after Thanksgiving and get tons of compliments on it, which is nice:) All in all, a great buy. Plus it arrived so super quickly. Way to go Amazon.com!

I purchased this item as a gift for my mother who collects this type of Pfaltzgraff. It is very good quality and extremely cute and easy to use.
