I bought this to set out on my countertop with fresh fruit in it. It is much too ornate and bulky to really use as a batterbowl, but I do love it for what I bought it for.

I purchased one of these for myself and 3 as gifts. I filled the gifts with a festive kitchen towel and small gifts appropriate for each person, and they loved the gift and the unusual way of presenting it!! The bowls arrived packed in the original boxes with lots of extra padding, Amazon does a wonderful job !! Highly recommended !!
