I purchased this for my mother for christmas (who happens to be an avid tea drinker). I had never seen a strainer in a teapot, but she said it works much better than the infuser (?) ball and allows her to use her loose-leaf teas she had been unable to enjoy before receiving this. It's a great weight and they packed it very, very carefully - I'd recommend to anyone!

I know... dorky... any way, I bought this for my wife, she LOVES winterberry products and likes loose leaf tea... I figured, what better?

The teapot itself is great, the only beef I have with it is the infuser doesn't go down far enough, but aside from that... it's great!

This is a beautiful teapot, colors are brilliant, the infuser works really well. I have several teapots but this one is my favorite. I live alone and it is perfect for a cup or two of hot tea on these cold days.
