The faucet is very well made, works beautifully, very easy to install.
Susan S.
It flows out plenty of water, but seems to use gravity rather than pressure (which is why it is not messy and does not splash everywhere).
Chad C.
I love the look of it and the combination of modern and vintage is perfect for our new bathroom.

Pro: I was attracted to this kind of water-fall type of faucets because of their height and the bold looks of the ones with the sharp corners and right angles. Actually bought four German made water-fall type faucet from Costco. Unfortunately, different product defects in the first two I attempted to install made me return all four. While this model does not have the boldness of the German design, it has the elegance and softness of either French or Italian design. My wife and I love the ease of bending down to rinse toothpaste from our mouth because of its mid-arc height. We have a regular sink rather than the above-counter bowls and can really take advantage of it's height. Although neither of us have accidentally bumped our face into these faucet yet, we are less concerned about such an accident because of the softer and less threatening corners and edges. Also love the warm glow of the nickel finish in the incandescent vanity lights.

Con: That said, I must say that the directions on where to apply plumber's putty is not that obvious for the average home-owner who would get to replace a faucet once every ten years. I had to redo the first one a couple of times to realize the intentions of the installation directions.

Trade-off: This unit comes with drain pop-up drains that is mostly plastic, which probably explains its lower price, but I can see that the plastic flange on this pop-up drain allows it to slightly bend and create a water-tight fit with an imperfect drain hole in a ceramic sink. The faucet itself is quite heavy and feels very solid despite its soft appearance.

Oh, boy, our bathroom remodel had been sitting on the back burner for over three years. So when we finally got down to doing it two months ago, we really took our time picking out new faucets, wall fixtures and lighting. It's not easy: Finding pieces that compliment and "match" when you are replacing faucets, lights, towel rods, light plates, waste basket and such. It all comes from different companies! We should start up a new company that sells both lighting and faucets plus accessories to match--we'd make a million bucks!

But as it was, it was time-consuming and frustrating finding things that matched in color (there are a lot of "brushed nickel" colors out there...) and style. The job is almost complete now and we are very, very happy with this choice of faucet. With its simple, graceful lines, it was easier finding other items to match.

We have a very old house out in the country and we debated for a long time whether this faucet would look too "modern". I think this is why I've bothered writing this review; because I want to say that style of this faucet goes both ways. It is modern in its graceful, understated curves. But, it also mimics an old-fashioned water hand pump, too. It was way easier to find complimenting light fixtures and towel rods because of its simple lines. It does not look out of place in our old house.

Also, if you are tall and your counter tops are lower than you'd like them to be, this faucet raises the "pour" noticeably. It is a relief for your back. (This faucet also comes with a shorter neck, so be careful what you finally choose. It also comes in different hole settings and is offered in a bronze color.)

The water doesn't shoot out with a lot of pressure, creating a bubbly or effervescent effect.

For years I've been intrigued with waterfall faucets. I first saw one at a hardware store, but after seeing the price of over $200, I wasn't sure I'd ever justify buying one.

Then comes along the best store in the world, Amazon! I found dozens and dozens of waterfall faucets, with eye-catching designs, at extremely low prices! The only catch... many have connections that are not standard in the USA, and the dependability for some models is questionable. I have actually tried 3 different designs from the "no brand" name and had issues with each one.

A very common problem is many of these have no type of regulator that allows maximum flow. Every generic faucet I've bought, has required me to adjust the water valves under the sink in order to control water flow from shooting out at high speed and making a mess. No big deal right? Well the problem with this... if you adjust it so that a 50/50 mixture of hot/cold comes out at the perfect rate, then when you only have one side on (hot or cold) it barely comes out. Or if one side or the other is perfect, then the mixture of warm water is too fast. Again... mess!

Then this beauty comes along! At this point I was ready to jump on-board with a quality brand name, but without wallet-shock! This unit cost me about $40 more than a generic faucet I purchased... and it was worth every penny! But still way cheaper than hardware store prices.

As a side note, I bought the brushed chrome model. I love the soft look and I've never cared for chrome because of the fingerprints and stains that you can never avoid.

This was a breeze to install and came with really nice quick connects for the water lines (it does not come with lines/hoses).
