It did not dispense soap.

I patched it and that seemed to hold for about another 3 months until the sprayer developed a crack and started leaking.

It starts to leak out the bottom all over the cabinet below & then to the basement ceiling below that!

Water quit running from faucet and sprayer. After an hour of messing with it, I determined that the diverter was bad. I shopped around town, people treated me as if I was crazy. Apparently, Price-pfister quit making them. I found only a few overpriced replacement diverters on line. The diverter is the "T" shaped brass thing to which all the lines attach. I finally got the nerve to take the diverter apart. Remove all the attachments first. It comes apart easily with a cresent wrench. Inside, you will see a white plastic circle with a brass center. From the other end, knock it out with a screw driver. I took it to Ace Hardware. They had an exact replacement for $4.50. I slid it in, replaced the O rings and reinstalled it. Works great. I know this isn't a review. But if you are going to put out big bucks for this faucet, or already have, then you need to know how to fix it without going ballistic at whatever home improvement center you bought it from. Now, for the review. I like the looks. It works well. But, I probably would not buy another.

We bought the Price Pfister Marielle faucet set over a year ago when we got a new Silestone countertop and undermount sink. We have had nothing but trouble.

First, we noticed a leak in the sprayer and we assumed that's why it was leaking under the sink into the cabinet below. Fortunately, Price Pfister has a lifetime warranty on parts, so they sent a free replacement. Also the sprayer will not stay seated on the Silestone so when the plumber came out he reseated it and replaced the sprayer. We still had problems with water pressure; we couldn't get a stream of water out of the faucet or use the sprayer without playing around with the two. The plumber said we had a bad diverter and that was causing the problem. So I again contacted Price Pfister and had them send me a "free" diverter. However, it came after the plumber was here and I will have to pay another service call to the plumber to install the "free" diverter. That's upwards of $50 here in Oklahoma City. The downside is that I don't know how long it will last and I don't want to go thru this every few months.

The last thing that happened is that the soap dispenser won't work. It would probably work if I took it got underneath the cabinet and checked the problem out but I have two bad knees (knee replacements) and don't like to put a strain on them. I have already tried extensive cleaning of the pump on the dispenser to no avail. I am thinking about replacing the whole thing if I have any more problems.

Mine is a similar experience to many others here: BAD! The faucet was already installed when we bought our current home. Looks beautiful, and worked fine for a couple of years. I don't know how long it had been installed before we bought the house, but it looked bright and new when we moved in. Finally the sprayer began to dribble, and we had to let it hang into the sink when the seam of the sprayer handle began to spit-out a fine mist of water. We have good water pressure, and no problems with any other sink/faucet in the house (four bathrooms and sink in the laundry room), but the kitchen faucet started this "air-in-the-line" sort of sound - thump, thump, thump - when the water was turned on ... and the dribble, and then mist, from the sprayer head would squirt in rhythm with the thump, thump, thump. The sound started before the leaking began. Price Pfister sent me a new sprayer assembly. I put off installing it - assuming it would turn into some nightmare (even though I've had complete success doing simple "handyman" stuff around my homes for years). I haven't dealt with this "quick release" coupling before, but it immediately looked like a bad design to me. No instructions with the part, but there are good instructions/videos online. Took old sprayer hose out, did the reverse of the same process to insert the new one - and it never quit leaking where the hose fits into the T-diverter. Another call to Price Pfister and they immediately said "no problem, we'll send you a new T-diverter." I'm sure everyone can see where this is going ... I certainly did, right at that moment. I have installed the new T-diverter: the new sprayer hose is not leaking, the connection to the faucet spout is not leaking, but now the outlet/feeder line from the handle assembly is leaking where it connects to the T-diverter.Read more ›

They should recall this monstrosity. The sprayer quit working after three years and we replaced it (our cost). Price pfister would not honor the lifetime warranty without proof of purchase (which we no longer have). Then the faucet stopped working properly and again, we ordered replacement parts from price pfister's website. The website had the "newer" plastic version of the older brass parts that came with our faucet. The plastic ones don't work with the old metal ones, but the brass parts aren't listed with this faucet on the website. We called Price Pfister to find out what we needed to do. They then informed me that they do carry the brass parts, just not on the website. So they will refund the money for the wrong parts (after I return them), but not the shipping. What a worthless company with worthless crap products and a worthless warranty. I will NEVER buy price pfister again.
