2nd time is not a charm,

I had done my research and decided on purchasing a Pflueger reel. Pflueger doesn't have a vendor in my area so I ordered it through Amazon. I had ordered this reel specifically for a planned fishing trip, however it didn't arrive in time for the trip.
When the reel did arrive it looked as if it had already been through a few good seasons of fishing. The finish was scratched in several places as if it might have been a refurbished product, even though I specifically ordered "new". I returned the reel for a replacement Pflueger and when the replacement reel arrived it too appeared to have been previously used. At this point I really needed a new reel for an upcoming offshore trip, so I kept it, but this will be the last time that I order a reel through Amazon. 2115|R2DH8UKBPVP1Y1;
