I bought this reel about a month ago. Always heard about Pfluegers reputation. Not until i fished this reel did i really realize the craftsmanship they put into all their reels. For an inexpensive reel it cant be beat. I received my reel in the mail with ground shipping in 3 days. I will continue to order from Amazon and would refer this product to a friend.

Excelent quality! this isthe finest reel I have bought. Right out of the box I was impressed. I was afraid the reel might be to small for the Snook, Redfish, and Trout we regulary fish, but after seeing the reel firsthand I have no fear and I would even use it for tarpon.

Reel is esp smooth. Infinite anti-reverse. Makes a good trout reel when filled with 8lb test mono. Unfortunately the stem could be a bit longer by about 1/4". For me. I have rather large bear paws and when the line roller mechanism comes around it hits my knuckles. I didn't deduct for this as for me it is common with spinning reels. Overall it is a very fine reel. The Pflueger President is a bit better and worth the extra money if u have large hands. Good reel is a keeper though.

I've been fishing for many years and have owned many brands of rods and reels. For the money these Pflegers can't be beat! I highly recommend the Trion Series! Smooth casting, bail action and handled large pike in Minn.

What an awesome value in a quality inshore salt water reel- this 10# class reel had no problem with several 20+ pound Stripers. Wouldn't hesitate in purchasing another....I appreciate value and Amazon free shipping is the cherry on top.....DSM
