The Enterprise Manufacturing Company, better known as Pflueger, was the first of the Big Five lure companies to be founded, and was the largest well into the twentieth century. Pflueger's popularity flourished because the company offered quality products that caught fish. Today, those products have endured the test of time and are highly collectible. This book details the Pflueger history from its founding in 1881 through 1952. Every lure and reel found in Pflueger catalogs and the literature are listed, described, and dated. Approximately 700 photos include not only lures and reels, but also details of Pflueger product characteristics. About the Author
Wayne Ruby went to school and had a 30 year career as an aerospace engineer in Arizona. He recently retired which gave him more time to devote to collecting fishing tackle. He is a member of the National Fishing Lure Collectors Club and the Old Reel Collectors Association. Fly fishing is his passion.

Very happy with this purchase. A great guide with wonderful accurate information about the products. This is the only reference book that I could find on Pflueger items. It is out of print, and I am very lucky to have been able to get this book. Great pictures-history and discriptions.
