The reel is worth the price alone, the rod has great feel and is a bit light for salt water. But for fresh water it is perfect, the pole is a long one but for longer casts it works like a charm.

Nice for the money, we fish for perch in lake erie and the action is very fast I'm sure this would make a nice waleye rod also.
