Despite having 4 ball bearings, the reel contains too much plastic component and feels really cheap. The handle fees too small and not palm friendly, and spins not smoothly at all. I also have a 3-ball bearing Daiwa Silvercast reel purchased at the same time for just $3 more than this one, and comparing them side by side, I'd say this Pflueger reel is at most 60% good as Daiwa (hence not worth the money). BUT, it is definitely better than my another sub-$20 Zebco authentic 33 which is 1-ball bearing only.

Smooth cast, long range, nice drag settings, and a good, solid weight to it. I was surprised what quality I got for the price.
