Book Description

February 21, 2011 1607620898 978-1607620891
One life, well lived-in:
Corners worn down, angles softened,
Habits formed, repaired as necessary.

PHANTAS is an elegant poetry collection by author, artist, and philosopher, Jeffry Dwight.

Do you dream in cerements of paler shade
Than those your vestal parents wore?

Collected in one volume for the first time, these wise, spare and thought-provoking pieces, written between 1974 and 2005, represent a wide range of creative output by a distinctive literary voice.

From the Author

Phantas is a collection of poems written between 1974 and 2005, bound together in this collection for the first time. A few of the works have appeared before, in obscure literary journals under pseudonyms, or online in various places.

About the Author

Jeffry Dwight was born in Illinois and grew up in the Chicago area. He now lives in a suburb of Dallas. In his spare time over the years, he has been a musician, a writer, and an artist, but his chief joys have been study, philosophy, and the raising of his two sons. He currently works, when it can't be avoided, as a computer scientist.

This sliim volume of poetry is dedicated to his sons Nicky and Zack.
