This is essentially the lead-off song on Kreator's new CD of the same name (it follows a short intro track). It's a good choice for the first single because it highlights both of the main aspects of the sound on the album. It starts with some blistering thrash riffs and harshly spat vocals, both courtesy of mainman Mille Petrozza. On both guitar and vocals, he sounds as good as, if not better than, ever. After the thrash assault of the main verse, the chorus features some melodic, catchy guitar work, which quickly shifts back into high speed. The middle of the song goes into a heavy groove breakdown, and then to a little hardcore-style thrash. It finishes with another round of the chorus and some melodic riffing and soloing. The mix of aggressive thrash and melodic power metal on this track is the perfect sampler of the entire album, so if you like this song, DO NOT hesitate to get Phantom Antichrist. Kreator is one of the best bands in metal.
