    Book Description

If you are a supporter of Israel, Phantom Nation is a must-read book. If you support the putatively Paleolithic “Palestinians,” you had better read this book. Sha’i ben-Tekoa skewers the myth of a “Palestinian” nation with rights to land the League of Nations specifically recognized as Jewish. The author, hired for a research project by the Office of Israel’s Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir discovered the first mention ever in a United Nations resolution of “Palestinians” in the year 1970, three years after Israel conquered Judea and Samaria, a.k.a. the “West Bank.” The author also shows how this very no-name of a name, “West Bank,” had to be invented for hills the Arabs never had a name for. Hence, the sterile, topographical description lacking all historical associations, which exposes the fraud that is the “Palestinian” counter-claim to land the League said was Jewish. Before 1959, when Gamal Nasser of Egypt conjured up the idea of a phantom “Palestinian” nation, the record of Holy Land history is perfectly empty of any mention of them.

After Ben-Tekoa's government assignment ended, he went in search of the full story surrounding the birth of this allegedly archaic community, and the story he tells covers the entire sweep of Zionist and Israeli history, its wars and waves of Arab and Muslim massacres (terrorism) and the birth of this notional nation a Biblical generation of forty years after the League of Nations’ decision. He likens the rise of “Palestinian Nationalism” to Holocaust Denial as a twin perversion of history; as our generation’s successor ideology to medieval Christianity and Nazism as forms of homicidal anti-Semitism. It is our time’s way of justifying the mass murder of Jews. Phantom Nation is also a crackling, riveting, great read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Palestinians explained September 10, 2013
    Format:Kindle Edition
For anyone who has listened to Shai's broadcasts from Israel, you know he does exhaustive research before speaking on any topic. The "Palestinian" subject is even unique for Sha"i because his research has spanned over twenty years now. Sha"i is one of the most sober-minded, articulate commentators on Middle East issues you will find. He tells, and now writes, using language which "describes reality, not masks it". This is a must read for anyone who is looking for the simple facts of a people that never existed except to continue the persecution of the Jews in the world's mind and to give license to their venom.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very, very, extremely impressive! January 18, 2014
    Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Phantom Nation explores the people and events that shaped the history of the growing nation of Israel envied by others...the Arabs' quest for property that did not belong to them...has the reader stunned and amazed by the lengths taken to rewrite historical facts, efforts to de-legitimize the Jewish nation, and replace it with a new, made up nation called Palestinians.

    5.0 out of 5 stars A truthful accounting.... October 25, 2013
    By Zach
    Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
A relentless and thorough presentation of historical fact, arranged in chronological order. Many sources are cited, such as the New York Times news archive. In this, he draws the reader's attention to the incremental corruption of language used to describe tactics, people and places, culminating in a new and fictitious "Palestinian narrative"....Truth turned upside-down. If you wonder how the conflict began, or why it continues today, then read this book. Many surprises throughout. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent review of history. October 5, 2013
    Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I'm half way through this. So far the author's review of history is excellent, thorough, well documented, and well footnoted. The presentation is good. My biggest complaint is that it's only a kindle book. There are times, places, and situations wherein an old fashion paper version is preferred... and it's hard to wrap up a kindle book and give it as a gift.

There is so much mendacity propagated by the left and Dhimmi politicians about Palestine. One has just to see the pro-Palestine demonstrations in Europe, while the actrocities of ISIS, Boko Haram, Al Quaeda and the Al Nusra Front are accepted by the west as an islamic norm. Unfortunately, this work will be discredited as right wing by the "progressive" elite and Shai Ben-Tekoa will be subjected to the usual leftist snear, smear and slander campaign. He should wear it as a badge of honour.

The author using the Arabs and their lap dogs own words against them as well as historical fact, proves that nobody, be it foreigner or Israel hater or other Arab, ever referred to Palestinians as, well Palestinians. There were Jews in Palestine and Arabs in Palestine, but nobody ever referred to the Arabs in in Palestine as Palestinian Arabs. They have no written history of their stay there, their food art and religion is the same as the surrounding Arab countries. Never has the adage that you tell a lie long enough people will start to believe it been proven so true then in the case of the Affirmative Action Arabs.
The author points out that the PLO Charter recognizes the British Mandate borders as Palestine proper in Article 2, then it goes on and contradicts itself in article 20 saying that anything that had to do with the British Mandate et al, is invalid. Ask them where there borders are then if the British Mandate has been vetted as being null and void? This is the one set of books you need to answer the Arabians, the Israel haters, the leftist traitors and the so called morally conflicted about the so called occupation when they really should be telling these lying Arabs to go straight to hell and all right thinking Jews stop referring to them as Palestinians, when before 1948 and until 1964 nobody from nowhere called them that.
The Arabs all said that Palestine was a Zionist invention designed to separate what they called Southern Syria from the rest of the Arab nations. In truth when people spoke of Palestinians they meant Jews. And if the Arabs living there decided to leave on the advice of other Arabs, well then too Fnn bad, then let the other Arabs take em in.
