I saw some other reviews, and they advised to stay away from this product. I have bought hundreds of movies off of online stores, and I find that Amazon still has the best out there, even when their own reviews don't reflect the nature of the product.

I watched this title last night, had no problems. My Blu-ray player up-plays all DVD's so it looked much better. This was a great purchase even though the price was a little steep.

This is the first film of the Phantom of the Opera from 1913. This is not the musical, as originally phantom of the opera was a book. The Greatest part of this movie is the ending. I won't give it away, but the books ending and the movies ending are entirely different. Although it made a wonderful book, this first stab takes a little motivation to get through, but it is well worth it.

Glad to see I could still find this out there.

Once you have seen the musical version or if you have seen the other two re-makes of this enchanting book, then you will know that this movie is probably the worst of them all. Not only is it bad, and horrible cinematography, but it actually has many mistakes from the books.

I showed this and other versions to my English class that recently completed reading 'The Phantom of the Opera". To be honest, it is very hard to watch.

Fast shipping though, good job Amazon!
