I liked this book because it is very mysterious and creative. I recommend this book for those who like horses and mystery.

I purchased this series of books for my granddaughter to read. She can't read at this level, yet, but I have read some of the books to her. She has found them entertaining, as she loves horses and hopes to get one. Her father is a very good horseman who wishes her to become a rider, too.

There are currently 10 books in the Phantom Stallion: Wild Horse Island series, and this is number three. They are great for both horse loving girls (or boys maybe, too)and reluctant readers. There's nothing like an interesting, fast-paced book when it's about something you really love to read about. The titles are fascinating, the covers eye-catching, and the series is addictive if you love horses. Book #11 comes out in March 2009!!

My daughter has the first 5 in this series and she loves them. (she is 6) They are well written in a way that is both informative in the subject of life with horses and also open minded in their content. Very exciting but not too stressful these books have really allowed my daughter to find herself in the lush landscape of Hawaii with her favorite animal...horses.

Beautiful book. Darby and her filly set of into the forest to spend some bonding time together. But there are wild pigs with rabies running around and Darby finds Megan's horse that was lost when her father was killed. Full of action and really exciting.

Hi, I got this book for my birthday and I loved it. It was also in perfect condition. I can't wait to read the rest of the series!!! :)

Another wonderful read in this series. The granddaughters don't want to
put them down.
