Styles go hard with the gangster overtone. Behind all that is game, uplifting, and inspirational messages that get you through. He has definitely made his mark in the rap game

Hot beats, hard bars! Exactly what you'd expect from styles! Cheated on one song but no biggie! Not 5 only due to not enough tracks for me!

Styles P has dropped many albums but not all of them are listenable do to the beat selection. He has just enough fire power on here to make this one worthwhile. Nice guest features but most of all, Styles P always keeps the listeners ears with his story telling and clever word play.

I've listened to Styles for over a decade now and never bought an album so i figured i'd support him and cop this. Styles P is like fine wine, he gets better with time. There was once a time i considered Jadakiss lyrically superior to anyone else in D Block. Over the last 2 years Ive changed that opinion. The lyrics, and Styles flow on this are crazy as usual. Talkin bout hitting random bitches, smokin in hotels, herb life, real s***. Only problems are the beats for the majority fall flat. Except for a few bangers (tracks 1 and 12 especially) the beats aren't good. The features on this aren;t good either. Vado is the only person who actually adds to a track. Jadakiss basically disses SP on "Sour" and these "Bullpen" guys are tax writeoff's. 5/10.. I;D recommend "Styles P - Float" over this if you wanna support him.

Styles P is arguably the best MC within the LOX/D-Block. Lyrically, he never disappoints. However, production wise, this album falls flat for the most part. An MC of his class is best paired with a top-tier producer or small group of top-tier producers. Anyone seeking to explore Styles' catalogue should begin with his best album to date - "A Gangster and a Gentleman."
