This is the album that got me started on Xorcist and it is still their best. Most of the "compositions" take some time to develop, but the layering of sounds and the approprite effects(women screaming, samples from 70's horror movies) build into a rather seamless soundtrack that doesn't seemed forced or melodramatic like most of the gothic music I have heard. The genre for this album has been described as cyberdustrial, so if you like laetherstrip, joy division's "Closer," and you think Marilyn Manson is an egotistical poseur than you should like this.
