This book was required for my US History class. While the book told the tale of one soldier's experiences during Vietnam, it was a bit dry. Not that there should have been a lot of fighting action but he simply described day to day life of someone stationed behind the lines. Pretty routine. Detail was good but got lenghty many times.
A friend said he had read several books by this author and enjoyed them. I plan to check out some of them. Maybe this is one that just didn't click with me. |
