This is a short and to the point very basic pharmacology book for allied health students. If you are studying to become a professional like MD or Pharmacist, then this book is not for you because it does not go into enough detail. It just skims over some useful concepts. For instance, it may mention anticoagulants, but it won't go into great detail about their structure and how they work in the body in any real depth. The authors have written this book in a very elementary style with cute drawings. You could be in the 9th grade and understand this. There is only one chapter with math in it, and it's all basic arithmetic. Most definitely for surg. techs, maybe even nurses but that's it. I would recommend.

Great book to have for personal or school uses. Informative and to the point. Instead of looking info in several books, I found all what I was looking for in one place.
