4.0 out of 5 stars A good reference material; can be wordy at times, January 27, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Pharmacotherapy: A Pathophysiologic Approach (Hardcover)
Pharmacotherapy: A Pathophysiologic Approach, is a good reference material for any medical library. The content is excellent: virtually every drug and class of drug is listed with in depth pathophysiolgic effects of every area mentioned. The book, however, can be wordy at times, especially in some indepth reports of drug trials. These may be usefull to some but can be distracting when you are looking for a quick down and dirty discription of the drug and its effects. As with all Pharmicologic books be prepared to spend a hefty sum, and clear a lot of space off your book shelf.

4.0 out of 5 stars Multi-authored text written by and for clinical pharmacists, February 1, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Pharmacotherapy: A Pathophysiologic Approach (Hardcover)
Covers all topics and disease states, along with treatment regimines. As it is multi-authored, some chapters are more difficult to get through. The information is current and easily indexed. Not so good for a classroom text, rather the private persons reading.
