This book is our primary textbook in my class this semester and it has everything I need. I got this book thru amazon for a fraction of what my college bookstore was selling it for.

This is a fabulous book loaded with information. In the short time I have had it, I have learned so much. I think I should be ready to take my test in the next month or two.

I enjoyed this book, explains Pharmaceuitical environment smoothly; reading some chapter i just got carried away - explaining body systems were the ones i found most interesting.
Very good condition.

Bad information,
This review is from: The Pharmacy Technician: Foundations and Practices (Paperback)
This book's content at first glance was comprehensive. However, after really getting deeper into what everything meant, things started to get criss-crossed. Not all of information that this pharm tech book gives is correct. I bought it along with a short term Pharmacy Technician Exam preparation coarse at one of my local colleges, but in my opinion, it might not have been the best choice. Although, of it's total 788 pages, it is very thorough. Other books that I have, or have borrowed, rage from 202, to 333. Another review that I read states that the pages are too thin, highlighters soak through; I probably would not have included this statement in my review if I had not read it already, but I agree.

Pharmacy Certification Review,

This is a great book to study for the Certification test. It explains everything so it is easy to understand. I have bought a couple other books and were too confusing but this one I like very much. It helped me to understand the areas I was having trouble with. It also comes with a cd so you can practice the test and see what you need to work on. I would suggest this to anyone preparing to take the Pharmacy Technician test. I passed my test with this book's help. It did have a few mistakes in it but over all an excellent guide.

This is our textbook for our Pharmacy Technician class. First glance shows it to be comprehensive as far as content goes, but the pages are SO thin that a highlighter soaks right through.
They just don't make em like they used to, but they charge more! |
