A great alternative for dry eyes in people too,
By
This review is from: Puralube Vet Ointment 3.5gm (Misc.)
I have dry eyes at night and use about a tube of petroleum jelly/mineral oil eye lubricant each two to four weeks.Recently, I discovered puralube, and bought and used a whole box of this stuff for my condition. At about $2.50 a tube it was way cheaper than alternatives like lacri-lube at about $20 a tube. And it worked just as well, perhaps even better. Then suddenly, it was out of stock everywhere. All I could find was this "vet" stuff. But it should be just as good: it is not rocket science, just a couple of basic ingredients in a sterile container.
