The Pharos EZ Road pocket GPS navigator goes everywhere you do, helping you navigate streets and highways anywhere in the U.S. with confidence. The device is so thin and light that it slips easily into your pocket, purse, or briefcase. Once seated in your car, simply place the EZ Road on its windshield or dashboard mount, and it will pinpoint your location, find points of interest, and guide you to your destination using GPS satellites and digital street maps.

The EZ Road's super-wide screen gives you a big picture view of where you're going, guiding you along the easy-to-view street maps and pointing the way with directional arrows. Acquires Satellite Signal in No Time.
Auto Re-Route function is Good.
Street Name,Text Direction with approx.distance calculation is Good.

cons:
Map need to be purchased/updated once in a Year

The small and thin size is great for taking with you and/or fitting in your purse or pocket and the touch screen and voice prompts are nice. But... the touch buttons are too complicated the keyboard for typing in the address, numbers and the street are all too small to touch without a stylus or a needle. They are TINY!!! The entire keyboard with all the numbers and letters, is 3/4 of an inch tall (5 rows of characters) by less than 2 inches wide (of 12 to 14 characters). WAY to small and frustrating to type anything without many mistakes. The initial downloading instructions were not detailed enough either. I ended up e-mailing customer service then going through the entire installation process over the phone with tech support for over an hour. I have returned mine and installed an in dash unit at Car Toys for 2K. It was worth it!!

The voice and text directions from this GPS navigator help me travel wherever I go without all the hassles of a paper map (or stopping to ask for directions). It's slim and easy to slip in a purse or briefcase too, and the memory card has enough space to store all the maps I need for my trips. Since I'm used to small screens, like on cell phones and Palm Pilots, it was easy to adapt to entering addresses using the touch screen keyboard, and this GPS comes with a stylus for inputting data. And if there are places you go to frequently, or if you're planning ahead, you can save addresses into the "Favorites" list so it's easier to choose as a destination when you need to go there. This GPS also came with a little suction cup arm to mount it on the windshield so that I can see it while I'm driving. I love it and wouldn't drive anywhere without it! AND it's better than paying thousands of dollars to have one installed in the car!
