These headphones are fairly small. They don't have a big bass. What they do have is exremely detailed sound. They won't be for everyone. I've had these since they were introduced. I have loaned them out, my wife watches movies with them. She has fallen asleep with them on in bed.
They don't have a mark on them. Phiaton is a first class outfit. I can't say how this set will sound to others ears though.
Many on ear cans sound very different person to person. Further, you need to find the best spot on your ears for optimal sound. The many that have heard them, have varied opinions. I like them, many love them. And some don't like the sound much, finding them to sound a little bright. There is no denying the detail they provide though.
Comfort for most is at least above average, the clampiing forse is just enough to keep them from moving around. The pads are very soft. I find the bass to be a tad light, others think it's great.
it seems to be an ear size or shape dependent thing. Of any can I own, these have the most varied opinions on the sound. Then again, it is also one of the most purchased after hearing them. Also, the earpads snap off for easy replcement.
You can also see the two seperate drivers with the pads off.
The alligator finish on the outside of the earcups is fantastic looking.

Great sound, bad fit for those who wear glasses, December 1, 2011
This review is from: Phiaton PS 320 Premium Dual Driver Luxury Headphones (Electronics)
Don't buy these if you wear glasses. I was very excited to get these headphones, however after first putting them on (with glasses on), I found them to be very uncomfortable. The earcups are small and push against the ears, which in turn pushes against the legs of the glasses. In addition, the distance between the earcup and the top of the heaphone is too much for those with small heads. The top band doesnt support the weight of the headphone, it is supported by the earcups which leads to pressure on the ears. Other than the fit, the sound is very good to great.

Very good sound, great portable phone, November 16, 2010
This review is from: Phiaton PS 320 Premium Dual Driver Luxury Headphones (Electronics)
I read various articles and reviews prior to making my decision about buying these. I wanted portable, high quality phones and these fit the bill for me. I'm using it for a week now and they're a competent upgrade to my previous phones (Sennheiser OMX 70 in ears).
