It folds down nicely and fits in a small trunk.

This stroller also has so much versatility, you can have the option of placing the infant seat in the front with the main seat fully reclined for naps.

My brother and sister-in-law just bought the Phil & Ted's E3 with doubles kit for us as we await the arrival of our second child. Our first is almost 2 1/2 and I was really looking for a double stroller that wasn't too heavy, was able to actually go into the aisles of most stores, and would also allow my kids to both fall asleep in it if needed for those all day excursions to amusement parks, etc. This stroller definitely meets those requirements. It's light enough that at 7 1/2 months pregnant, I can easily lift it into my car by myself, and it doesn't take up any more room in the car than my current single stroller. I love the way it looks, and even with two kids in it (my nephew has been the second child several times) it seems easier to push than my single Graco stroller. I can easily steer it with one hand when needed. I love that it can be used with an infant and toddler and then later with two toddlers (many double strollers cannot be used until your smaller child is old enough to sit up on their own).

The only downsides I see (there is no such thing as a perfect double stroller, IMO) are 1) The basket is only rated for 7 lbs of stuff... my small diaper bag may make it, but I'm used to being able to toss my purse and sweater in there at times and will have to get used to not being able to do that. 2) As the smaller child grows, you may find it difficult to access the basket, as their feet end up in there. Phil & Teds do offer some bags you can add to the stoller to increase storage space though. 3) Some people complain that in the two toddler mode, the smaller child (in the rear of the stroller) is stuck looking at the back of the larger child's seat. I don't think this will be a problem for us, but I've heard others complain about it.

With a two week old and a fifteen month old we wanted a stroller that would adapt as both girls got older, the Phil and Ted seem to be the best balance between price and features. Well made, easy to put together and seems very safe, probably not hardcore enough for serious joggers but seems as if it can handle a decent amount of punishment. Can have baby lying flat in her cocoon whilst the toddler is sitting above in her seat then, once the baby is a bit older then they can both sit one above and in front of the other, looks a bit odd but we're pretty sure it'll be fine. Recommended, this Phil and Ted's excellent stroller isn't even slightly bogus dude.

I bought this stroller for my two children. My son is 19 months and I'm due to have our second son any day now. So far we LOVE the e3.

1. The color is wonderful and the fabric is very durable and washable.

2. This stroller is so easy to push, even with two toddlers. I used it with my 24 lb. toddler and my 30 lb. cousin. I can't believe how easy the stroller is to maneuver through stores and clothing racks. It's much easier than my single Graco Quattro Tour.

3. My son is so comfortable in the stroller and falls asleep in it very often.

4. The tires are very big and sturdy.

5. The straps are easy to adjust.

6. The storage is ample with a single but it gets tricky when the double is attached, I have the add on storage bag/cup holder.

A lot of people have expressed concern thinking they would kick the back seat when the doubles kit is in use, this is just not the case. It's never been a problem for us.

Also, the backseat is very roomy & the other child has a great view of things from the sides, I haven't gotten any complaints from my child about not being able to see out the front.

I would recommend this to anybody looking for a sturdy double stroller.

I am the type of person who likes to get out and do things with my kids. I had been using a double Peg Perego stroller since my younger son was born, but the stroller was getting in the way of us being able to get where we needed to go. So I went out and "test drove" the Phil and Ted stroller. Even with my two boys in it (a total of almost 50 pounds combined), the stroller was SO easy to push and especially turn! I bought one two days later.

Because the front wheel swivels, it can turn around without having to be pushed forward (or backwards). This is a HUGE improvement over my other double stroller. I have the double kit installed on my stroller, and it still pushes like a dream.

One thing that I really like about this stroller is how LONG you can use it. It can be used for a newborn, a newborn and a toddler, or two toddlers.
