5.0 out of 5 stars Minty and Volumnizing
Philip B
Is for me,
Undoubtedly the best!

In premium care
For my hair
It outdoes all the rest.

Love the subtle minty fragrance and the volumnizing effect. A nickel size dollop does it for my short hair.

3.0 out of 5 stars I feel like its the same as Paul Mitchells' tea tree products
I feel this product is way overpriced for its results. I would rather use paul mitchell's tea tree products, without the expensive costs. I really didnt feel any difference in my hair the first 3 times I have used it. I havent used it after that.

Love this peppermint shampoo-makes the head tingle and peppermint seems to be a mood elevator

4.0 out of 5 stars Fancy shmancy but use with caution, November 15, 2010

This is some fancy-shmancy shampoo, and I do like it very much but caveat emptor on a few points.

1) It has a lot of peppermint in it. You eyes will sting something fierce if the foam even gets near them. Wash only with your head leaning way back (or forward).

2) Your hair will absorb all of the shampoo if you massage it in for 2 minutes, as directed. It takes half a handful to do my fine, past-shoulder length hair. So it doesn't last very long.

3) It's crazy-expensive, obviously.

Otherwise I love the tingly feel and the voluminizing effect. Great pampering gift for someone with fine hair. :^}

3.0 out of 5 stars Great scent; average volumizing, October 27, 2011

This shampoo has a very attractive color and package - I love the rich green of the liquid and the gold Philip B crest/insignia design on the label - and it smells terrific, like mints and candy. More cosmetics should smell like peppermint! Also, sometimes I can feel the peppermint oil tingling on my scalp and temples - a cooling sensation that would be really nice in hot weather. That said, I think this is an effective but not terrific volumizing shampoo. I had the best results using it for the first time, but then noticed that my hair flattened out with subsequent uses. This might be better to use occasionally as a clarifying rinse instead of every day. Also, it doesn't lather very well so you do have to use a lot of product with each wash to get the desired coverage. But overall it's a good, luxurious shampoo experience :)

This is my favorite shampoo. I love the smell and it leaves my scalp tingly after using it. Philip B shampoo is a little pricey but a good product.

This shampoo is good but it doesn't work very well if you have very dry scalp.
