4.0 out of 5 stars Great Pictures, January 31, 2008

This review is from: Philipok (Hardcover)
We enjoyed reading about Philipok finally getting to go to school. We talked about the pictures quite a bit. I really liked the pictures as they had so much detail. We talked about what the weather must be like in Russia and when the story might have taken place. This book is probably better for PS-K aged children. I think it was a little young for my 8 year old. Philipok wants to go to school but he is too young. He follows his brother one day past some perils to get to school and you will have to read the book to find out the rest. Recommended for children age 4-8 years.
