Born and raised as a child in the Philippines before immigrating to Canada, the photographer returns after twenty years and has a unique perspective on this country. He spent several months over a span of six years covering dozens of places, from the bustling capital to remote, untouched wilderness areas. While he covered every region, the photographer wanted to create a more personal, intimate portrait of the country, and not the typical, tourist-oriented book nor the 'day in the life' photojournalistic coverage.
