The GyroFlex 3D system has three dynamic parts that move independently, flexing outward, pivoting around, and tilting inward, following the natural contours of your face.
Also, the UltraTrack shaving heads catch every hair in just a few strokes with three specialized shaving tracks: slots for the long hairs, channels for the longer hairs, and holes for the shortest stubble. And the Patented Super Lift&Cut dual blade system lifts hairs to cut comfortably below skin level. This razor gets the job done without leaving any stray hairs or stubble behind.
Cordless and Ergonomic Design with Built-In Trimmer
The razor charges in one hour and provides up to 60 minutes (or a maximum of 20 days) of shaving time. A display lets you know how much power remains in the lithium-ion battery and when you need to replace the shaver head.

Tips and Tricks
How do I shave with an electric razor?
First time users: Your skin needs to adapt to the electric razor. In about two to three weeks your skin will adjust and you should be able to shave quickly with minimal to no skin irritation.
To minimize skin irritation: Thoroughly clean skin, shave with cream or gel, shave problem areas first, shave with the grain, and keep your razor clean.
To avoid hair pulling: Trim the long hair first and ensure your razor is fully charged before shaving.
To shave difficult areas: Stretch your skin, trim downwards, and apply gentle pressure.
How often do I need to replace the Jet Clean solution?
If you clean your razor every day, you should clean and refill the canister approximately every 15 days.
How often do I need to replace the shaver head?
For best maximum performance and closeness, replace the shaving heads every 12 months. All SensoTouch 3D razors use the RQ12 replacement head.
Can I shave with shaving cream? If so, how?
1. Clean skin using hot water and soap
2. Apply shaving gel or foam
3. Begin shaving in a circular motion
4. Run razor under hot water to clean shaving cream from the shaving head
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until foam is nearly gone or all areas of facial hair have been shaved
6. Open shaving head and run hot water over it to remove hair and gel or foam
What if I want to shave dry?
1. Clean skin using hot water and soap and use a towel to dry skin
2. IMPORTANT: Wait 15 minutes for your skin to completely dry
3. Begin shaving in a circular motion over hair growth areas
4. Open shaving head and run hot water over it to remove hair

My previous top-of-the-line Remington had the cleaning kit (similar to the Norelco setup). I never really liked having to buy the cleaning fluid, and changing the filters, etc. (kind of messy). But, it was a gift, so I dealt with it.
While looking at these newer Norelco units, I was already biased into feeling that I "needed" a unit with the Jet Clean system. Today, while at Costco (sorry Amazon), my wife bought me the Norelco 1280x (no cleaning kit) as an early Xmas present (it's the "Premium Edition", $169.99 after Costco's current $30 off coupon - a good deal, I thought). After using the unit, I am very pleased with the shaving performance, as well as the cleaning.
The unit cleans very easily by running hot water on the blades for a few minutes (per the manual), after which you can open up the blades (they flip up) and continue to rinse. It's recommended that you do this after every shave, but who wants to do that every morning, right before work (not me, anyway)? I can see how doing this at least a few days a week will keep the unit very clean, without the hassle and expense of dealing with the cleaning fluid. Looking forward to more clean shaves with my new shaver.
