The 180MT13P accepts analog, TV (antenna/cable), and S-video signals through its D-sub, TV in, and S-video ports, while built-in 2.5-watt-per-channel stereo speakers provide a true multimedia experience. The S-video ports allow you to hook up a VCR or DVD player directly to the monitor, and a picture-in-picture feature lets you watch TV or video and work on other PC applications at the same time. 170-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles provide a wide range of visual clarity, while the anti-glare, hard coated screen surface cuts back on harmful reflections and damaging eyestrain.
Philips' patented Directional Correlational Deinterlacing technology (DCDi) and less than 30 ms response time result in high-quality moving images that are clear and true-to-life. A remote control allows you control the 180MT13P from anywhere in the room, while the on-screen display provides access to a wide range of monitor settings.
With a 17.8-by-7.9-inch footprint, the 180MT13P easily fits where you need it, and VESA plug-and-play compatibility makes setup a snap. Compatible with both PC and Mac platforms, the 180MT13P also comes backed with a one-year limited warranty.

Better as a TV....,
This review is from: Philips 180MT13P 18" LCD Monitor with TV Tuner (Personal Computers)
Well, I wanted a > 17" LCD monitor that doubled as a TV to save some space and thought this monitor would do the trick....It did, but sort of the reverse happened. It's a TV full-time. It's acceptable as a computer monitor, but barely so. If you read the specs on this thing, it looks like you've got the best of both worlds. As a TV, it's better than any CRT in my home. I have some dislikes: It's thick, twice as thick as the 19" LCD I bought to replace this as the computer monitor and it gets hot, the power-supply heats up quickly -- I usually turn off the power-strip this thing is connected to when I leave for work. I was planning to return it but ended up keeping it because I'm just lazy...
