Meets Our Needs Perfectly,

This review is from: Philips 20PF7835 20-Inch LCD Flat-Panel TV with Stand (Electronics)
We have had this TV for about 2 years, and it has met our needs perfectly. It is located in the master bathroom, and we watch it every morning as we get ready for work (mostly CNN, the Today Show, local news, etc., on digital cable). For this type of programming, the video and audio are more than satisfactory. Would purchase a Philips LCD TV again.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Philips 20PF7835 20-Inch LCD Flat-Panel TV with Stand (Electronics)
What convinced me to buy this model were the many positive testimonials regarding the quality of this particular company's products. ( I already knew Phillips is good).
I needed a wall-mountable, smallish TV for my guest room, and this is it ! It is light, flat, very sleek. I bought a wallmount for it, mounted it myself, and alas! - pure enjoyment. The cable pictures are crystal clear, even when watched from the bed 10 feet away. I can hook up my earphones, my VCR, even download and look at pictures off my camera. There are many more technical aspects to this little wonder, but I just want to enjoy the viewing, which I do. Now that I got so spoiled, I am ready for a bigger model for MY bedroom ...

Upon receipt of TV plugged it in and got good audio but no video. Called Philips technical support, they tried but could not help. They told me that that was all they could do and the TV was "out of warranty". I returned the TV to Amazon for a refund (with no hassle). The net result of this experience was disappointment and the decision to purchase a TV retail and under warranty.
