The set's three-line comb filter removes blurred edges between colors and reduces dot crawl (tiny, moving dots of color along a sharp color separation in a vertical line, as in a depiction of a character's striped t-shirt). Video noise reduction, meanwhile, minimizes any residual picture grain.

A hallmark of the set, its QuadraSurf remote control lets you personalize and customize your channel surfing and TV viewing by family member or program theme. QuadraSurf delivers your favorite television shows at the press of a button.

A component-video input grants optimum connection with a compatible DVD player, while standard composite- and S-video inputs accommodate all DVD players. You can choose between a set of rear AV inputs and a set of front AV inputs for extra convenience.

Other 20PS40S features include a 240-minute sleep timer, AutoPicture (which optimizes brightness, contrast, color, tint, and sharpness), AutoLock (which uses V-Chip technology for parental control), and AutoSound (which lets you select settings for voice, music, movies, or custom). Incredible Surround simulates surround sound from the set's two speakers, while bass and treble controls let you adjust the sound to your taste.

I decided to write a review since no one else has! I received this TV as an 8th grade graduation present last year. So far it has worked great. I have a DVD player hooked up using the S video jack and the picture is amazing. The sound is also great, it has a simulated surround sound. The TV has 2 RCA inputs, 1 RCA output, and 1 S-Video jack. It also has a headphone jack. I highly reccomend this TV. It is perfect for a bedroom, which is where mine is at. You won't regret buying this TV.
