Great TV for the money!
I have had this TV for about 3 months now and love the picture. I have VOOM HD and the high definition pictures are outstanding. The sound is fine, but I use my stereo for watching movies. So for an inexpensive HD TV, this has been a great choice for me.

Unacceptable Display Quality & Very Poor Customer Service
I purchased this Philips HDTV Monitor in June of 2006. Right out of the box, the display was wavy on the sides, and pinched in when high contrast colors were displayed on the screen (see images in customer gallery above). After a lengthy (5 month) repair process, expiration of Philips' 30-day return policy and expiration of the 90-day warranty, I was told by Philips that...

I purchased this Philips HDTV Monitor in June of 2006. Right out of the box, the display was wavy on the sides, and pinched in when high contrast colors were displayed on the screen (see images in customer gallery above). After a lengthy (5 month) repair process, expiration of Philips' 30-day return policy and expiration of the 90-day warranty, I was told by Philips that there is nothing wrong with television, they will not attempt to repair it, and that a refund/return was not possible, and that I was "stuck with it" (actual words from a Philips' customer service rep). Even after a letter to the CEO I am still "stuck with" this television.
DO NOT BUY unless you want a cheap, poor quality display. In my opinion, its not worth it at any price.
