NEGATIVES:
The quality of the video when using the splitter was a bit more degraded than I expected. I switched back to 2 4-way splitters which produced a better picture.

POSITIVES:
I liked that it is an 8-way splitter and that the feeds are pointing straight out from the splitter making for easier connections.

Bought this for use with FiOS. It only works up to 900 MHz, and FiOS needs up to 1 GHz (1000 MHz). Be careful when selecting this for use with certain set top boxes. Other than that, seems to work well. Capped off unused port with 75-Ohm terminators.
Received the item very quickly from seller.

I bought this to split my cable signal comming into my computer. I currently use 4 of the 8 connections. One each to my cable modem, two analog PVR-150 analog tuner cards and a Slingbox Tuner. I have not noticed any signal loss and the cable modem works as fast as before I split the signal.

This splitter was a breeze to use. So much easier than a 4-way splitter. Fewer connections. Makes the cable jumble look organized.
